SWAN UK
The last Friday in April is SWAN UK’s national awareness day, Undiagnosed Children’s Day, raising awareness and celebrating children who have medical, physical or learning difficulties that are unexplained. SWAN UK supports families with children and young adults with undiagnosed genetic conditions, who are a great support for many families.
Due to the current situation a lot of the activities planned for the day had to be cancelled and we had to be creative. Like many other swan families we made an origami swan, Dottie shared the Makaton sign for ‘swan’ with friends, family and the Makaton community on-line and Dottie’s mum was sponsored to dye her hair pink!
