Support for Young Carers

New support for young carers

Care for the Carers are launching a new Young Carers Together service for young carers from 5-17. There is also a Young Adult Carers (YAC) service for 18—25 years.

Support will include:

  • Holiday activities
  • Information and signposting
  • Supporting young carers to access services and activities
  • Young Carers Club for those aged 8 and upwards *Starting April 2021*
  • ‘Teen Talk’ Counselling for those aged 12 years and above
